SPC Executive Board Election Postponed

Executive Board Election Postponed

The COVID-19 virus has temporarily changed our focus as parents and this means we must adapt our current plans as the board of Scottsdale Parent Council.   We have decided it would be in SPC’s best interest to postpone our annual board election process to a time at which a commitment to volunteer work is less daunting.  This is a challenging time for all of us and we would not expect nor ask that anyone make commitments as a volunteer for the following school year when so much is unknown.

We are committed to the future of Scottsdale Parent Council.   We believe it is extremely important to continually evolve and grow.  This can only be done with new ideas brought in by fresh perspectives and diverse board.  We’d like to utilize this time to capture the interest of prospective Board Members, Chairpersons, SPC representatives, and committee members.  We welcome anyone interested and ensure any prospective board members and volunteers will have the support and resources they need to do the job effectively.

If you would like to get involved but unsure how please contact me or any of the executive board members.  We encourage you to get to know the organization and discover what role works for you best.

We look forward to hearing from you.

On behalf of the executive board,

~Lara
